Abstract: In the context of the maturity of rural protection and development planning, how to carry out more targeted and differentiated revitalization of rural areas, and how to deeply explore rural regional characteristics and narrative resources have become important topics. This article briefly sorts out the key points of critical regionalism and narratology, describes its formation background and process, basic views and propositions, and its significance and value to rural revitalization. And this article preliminarily constructs the specific strategy of 'regional narrative':site-featuring, space-shaping, path-arranging. Finally, taking Yunshan Village, Xinluo District, Yanshi Town, Longyan City, Fujian Province as an example, through analyzing its current situation and problems, applying the aforementioned theoretical strategies according to local conditions, a series of countermeasures for the protection and development of Yunshan Village are given, and the viewpoints of this article are tested in practice. The article shows that regional narrative has very positive significance for the cognition, continuation, inheritance and expansion of rural culture, which can further preserve the diversity of the village, enhance the efficiency of rural governance, enrich the rural space experience, and strengthen the vitality of the village.Keywords regionalism; narrative; rural revitalization; traditional vill
